Artículo 7. Armas de Fuego Permitidas
Son permitidas las armas de fuego y calibres siguientes:
a) Revólveres y pistolas de acción mecánica o semiautomática, es decir tiro a tiro, hasta once punto seis milímetros de calibre o sus equivalentes en pulgadas;
b) Fusiles y carabinas de acción mecánica o semiautomática, es decir tiro a tiro, hasta once punto seis milímetros de calibre o su equivalente en pulgadas;
c) Escopetas: De acción mecánica o semiautomática, es decir tiro a tiro, de los calibres desde cero punto cuatrocientos diez hasta cero punto setecientos setenta y cinco de pulgada; siempre que el cañón no sea menor de dieciocho pulgadas o su equivalente en centímetros;
d) Armas de colección, de acuerdo a los conceptos siguientes: Armas de guerra, las que deberán estar inutilizadas; y, armas antiguas, obsoletas y de valor histórico las que no serán inutilizadas, previa revisión técnica del Ministerio de la Defensa Nacional que las califique como tal.

Act No. 655 of 1999 on the Control and Regulation of Arms, Ammunition, Explosives and Related Materials
Article 7. Authorised Firearms
The following firearms and calibres are authorised:
a) Revolvers and single-shot or semi-automatic pistols up to 11.6 mm calibre, or its equivalent in inches;
b) Single-shot or semi-automatic rifles and carbines up to 11.6 mm calibre, or its equivalent in inches;
c) Single-shot or semi-automatic shotguns from .410 to .775 inch, provided that the barrel is not less than 18 inches or the equivalent in centimeters;
d) Firearms for collection purposes, in accordance with the following types: weapons of war, which must be de-activated; and antique, obsolete and historical firearms which are not de-activated, subject to technical revision by the Ministry of National Defence, which shall list them accordingly.
