Rwanda Police Call Civilians to Hand in Illegal Firearms

The Rwanda National Police has called upon the people to hand in illegal arms which they say that are the reason for the various blasts around the country.
According to police, the liberation war and genocide against the Tutsi in 1994 left grenades, unexploded ordnances (UXO's) and other small arms on the surface of Rwanda.

AWKA — The Anambra State branch of Importers Association of Nigeria and the National Task Force against illegal importation of firearms and ammunition said yesterday that they had intercepted a trailer load of dangerous arms and ammunition in the commercial city of Onitsha.
