The St Catherine South police yesterday seized four illegal guns within an eight-hour period and charged one man with breaches of the Firearms Act. BARRIE - Beer, vodka, and a loaded gun led to a catastrophe when a 20-year-old shot his best friend in the stomach, a court heard Monday. Cody Rose, 20, of Alliston, pleaded guilty to the Dec, 18, 2010 incident that left his best friend, Chris Redmayne, 20, laying on his floor in a pool of blood.
