DENVER, Colorado — A Senate committee on Wednesday approved a less-restrictive bill to preempt local control over concealed weapons permits. The bill by Sen. Doug Lamborn, R-Colorado Springs, requires less training than a competing measure. The bill is Senate Bill 63.
