DENVER — Nine months after the Columbine High School shootings, Colorado state legislators begin debate today on gun-control proposals prompted by the massacre.
With 17 separate gun-related measures on the docket, this is dubbed "gun week" at the golden-domed state Capitol, 12 miles from the suburban setting of last April's killing spree.
Both sides of the gun issue are expected to crowd the legislative sessions.
