Police Seize 305 Illegal Pistols, Rifles in Namibia

Police have seized 305 illegal pistols, 2 011 rounds of ammunition and drugs with a street value of N$1 747 728 in the ongoing Operation Omake since last year.
Safety and security minister Charles Namoloh told parliament yesterday that the police also seized 24 rifles and 10 guns. A further 42 firearms which had been used in violent crimes were also confiscated.
