Tasmania Gun Amnesty Nets Hundreds of Unlawful Firearms

Central Queensland police stations and gun shops have been inundated with hundreds of weapons as the Queensland firearm amnesty enters its final month.
And a flash stun grenade was one of more than 4000 weapons handed in statewide.
In the central region, which covers Mackay, Rockhampton and Gladstone, about 550 guns have been handed in under the amnesty running until the end of this month.
