South Africa to Implement New Weapons Act in 2014, Bans Imitation Guns

JOHANNESBURG - South Africa will implement the Dangerous Weapons Act early next year, the Presidency announced on Wednesday.
President Zuma has decided that the Dangerous Weapons Act will come into effect on Jan. 2, 2014, the Presidency said, adding that the act will seek to prohibit the possession of dangerous weapons, firearms or replicas or imitation firearms in public.
