Lawmakers Try Once More to Exempt Oklahoma from Federal Gun Control

Gov. Brad Henry, who just last week vetoed a measure that states firearms made and kept in Oklahoma are not subject to federal law, is being sent a similar measure.
The House of Representatives on Wednesday passed House Bill 2994 by a vote of 81-14.
The governor last week vetoed a similar measure, Senate Bill 1685. The Senate failed Wednesday to override the veto.
