3,600 Guns Surrendered as NSW Firearm Amnesty is Extended

The NSW government today announced a one-month extension of a state-wide amnesty for people to hand in illegal firearms.
People with illegal firearms now have until November 2 to hand them in or risk up to 14 years' jail.
The now four-month Illegal Firearms Amnesty allows illegal firearms to be handed in without question, or for guns in the same category as existing licences to be registered.
