Worker in Tel Aviv Weapon Factory Stole Handguns, Sold to Criminals
12 March 2009
Jerusalem Post (Israel)
Police arrested three men on Thursday, including an employee of the Bul Shiruki arms factory, on suspicion of operating a black market of firearms that supplied guns to the criminal world.
According to the police's National Serious and International Crimes (NSIC) Unit, the employee stole gun parts from his Tel Aviv factory before they were stamped with serial numbers, and assembled them into hundreds of functioning firearms, selling them to a security guard.
