The head of the Medical Society of Papua New Guinea claims the cost of treating gun-related injuries in PNG is almost $US7 million a year. Doctor Mathias Sapuri's comments came at the launch of The Coalition to Stop Gun Violence in Port Moresby. He's told the Post Courier newspaper there must be no delay in dealing with the gun issue.
