A surprising decision by Bruce Montague to dismiss his lawyer Tuesday morning in Kenora Superior Court will delay the completion of his constitutional challenge of the Firearms Act up to four more months. Toronto lawyer Calvin Martin notified Justice John Wright at the start of Tuesday's session that Montague wished to remove him from counsel and sought a four-month adjournment in order to obtain a new lawyer.
