The mayor of Miramichi is angry about the federal government's efforts to kill the gun registry. John McKay said if program is shut down, it will mean the loss of nearly 200 good jobs in the city. The Conservative government formed a committee this week to figure out the best way to end the registry, a program that costs Canadians $90-million a year.
