Chicago's top cop complained today that his officers have found more military-type assault weapons in the hands of street thugs since Congress and President Bush allowed a federal ban on the firearms to expire last September. As CBS 2 political editor Mike Flannery reports, Superintendent Phil Cline's claim came despite the continuing decline in Chicago's murder rate. There have been eight fewer murders in Chicago so far in 2005, compared to the same period in 2004.... (
