Gun-Shop Owner in D.C. Sniper Case Faces Tax Charges

The owner of the gun shop where the D.C. snipers got their weapon — a firearms dealer who was repeatedly warned he was running his business in violation of the law — was charged yesterday, not with a firearms-related crime, but with violating tax law.
Brian Borgelt, owner of Bull's Eye Shooter Supply in Tacoma, was charged in U.S. District Court in Tacoma with five misdemeanor counts of failure to file a tax return.
