EDMONTON — An RCMP dog handler fatally shot Saturday in a standoff with a mentally ill man was not killed by a Mountie bullet. "A forensic report has confirmed that a single bullet that struck and killed Cpl. Jim Galloway was fired by a rifle that is of a similar calibre to one that was in the possession of Martin Ostopovich at the time of the shooting,"RCMP spokesman Cpl. Wayne Oakes said Tuesday.
