La venta de armas de fuego cuando se realiza a los poseedores de Licencia de Armas de Fuego por las entidades autorizadas, estos en un término de 48 horas después de efectuada la compra, deben presentar en la Estación Municipal de la Policía Nacional Revolucionaria donde se controlan como poseedor, las armas objeto de la compra y los documentos que la acreditan para su legalización y someterse a los requerimientos establecidos para su inscripción, en correspondencia con el tipo de arma de fuego adquirida y la clase de licencia que posee.

Article 59. Firearm Sale between Licensed Gun Owners and Licensed Gun Dealers

In case of the sale of firearms between owners of a Firearm Licence and authorised dealers, and within a 48 hours delay following the purchase, the owner [of the Firearm Licence] must present himself to the Municipal Station of the National Revolutionary Police, where the purchased firearms and the documents proving the transfer shall be controlled for their legalisation, as well as compliance with requirements set for its registration, in accordance with the type of the purchased firearm and the class of the licence possessed.
