Artículo 41. Armas, Municiones y Materiales Relacionados Incautados o Decomisados

La SUCAMEC decide el destino final de las armas de fuego, municiones y materiales relacionados incautados, decomisados, excedentes o entregados voluntariamente que no sean de uso exclusivo de las Fuerzas Armadas y la Policía Nacional del Perú, optando por su asignación para el servicio de la Policía Nacional del Perú, la venta vía subasta o remate, su donación a los clubes de tiro debidamente acreditados o museos cuando las características del arma incautada lo amerite. En caso contrario son destruidos.

Article 41. Seized or Confiscated Firearms, Ammunition and Related Materials

SUCAMEC decides the final destination of seized, confiscated, surplus or voluntarily surrendered firearms, ammunition and related materials, which are not for the exclusive use of the Armed Forces and Peru National Police, opting whether to allocate them to members of Peru National Police, sell them through auctions, or donate them to recognised shooting clubs or museums, when the characteristics of the seized firearm allow it. Alternatively, they shall be destroyed.
