The 2013 Queensland Firearms and Weapons Amnesty
As a result of the 2013 Queensland Firearms and Weapons Amnesty, more than 18,500 firearms and weapons were processed during a three-month period, of which 74 per cent were registered, 24 per cent destroyed and 2 per cent held for safekeeping pending a firearms licence application by the owner.
