Marking, Record Keeping and Tracing

Is this marking unique?

The National Army Material And Arms Department carries out the marking of firearms that have no identification or that do not allow unambiguous identification. For this purpose it keeps a track of the weapons marked in this division, which are unique and unambiguous. They are: AG (Arsenal de Guerra, until 1977) and SMA onwards. Since 2007, all weapons entering the market must be marked according to Circular 001/RNA-E/07.

[AG = Weapons of War; SMA = National Army Material and Arms Department]
