Toda persona que adquiera una o más armas permitidas, de cualquier tipo, está obligada a solicitar su inscripción al Departamento. La solicitud se presentará por escrito y en ella se indicará, por lo menos, la marca, el calibre, el modelo y la matrícula del arma, la cual se mostrará en el mismo acto.

Además, deberá demostrar, en la forma que determine el reglamento, su conocimiento de las reglas de seguridad, el manejo apropiado del arma y los fundamentos de su funcionamiento.

Article 33. Requirements to Register Firearms

Anyone who acquires one or more permitted arms of any kind is required to apply for registration at the Arms and Explosives Control Department.
