Art. 34. Authorization to introduce into Swiss territory in a professional capacity. (art. 5 and 24 Law on Arms)

1 The request for an exceptional authorization to introduce into Swiss territory, in a professional capacity, arms, accessories of arms, essential components of arms or specially designed components of arms as referred to in art. 5, al. 1, LArm, must be filed with the OCA, using the form designed for this purpose, together with the following documents:
a. a copy of the licence to trade in arms;
b. an exceptional Cantonal authorization in accordance with art. 5, para. 4, LArm;
c. a document attesting that the devices are necessary to cover the needs of the authorities designated under art. 2, para. 1, LArm or those of security firms and that the persons who place any order hold an exceptional authorization for these devices.

2 The request for an exceptional authorization to introduce into Swiss territory in a professional capacity prohibited ammunitions, as referred to in art. 26, must be filed with the OCA using the form designed for this purpose, together with the following documents:
a. a copy of the licence to trade in arms;
b. a document attesting to the fact that the ammunitions are necessary to cover to needs of the authorities designated under art. 2, para. 1, LArm or those of security firms.
