Campaign against Criminal Gangs

Operations against criminal gangs resulted in the neutralization of 138 gangs and 765 members, recovery of 147 firearms and filing of 237 cases in courts. (pp. 60-61)

MIKE: This is such a small number that I don't see how we can use it. The only useful Seizure figures are those which represent a large proportion of the national total. This also applies to the 22 guns seized in the 'CT' and 'SPT' passages. When you prune this Q, remove any redundant Keywords.

Campaign against Loose Firearms

Firearms confiscated for violation of Republic Act No. 8294 increased by 27% from 6,292 to 7,960. Consequently, a total of 5,304 persons were arrested and 3,848 cases were filed in courts. (p. 61)

MIKE: If the statement above relates to a law pertaining to safe storage, then it deserves its own 'Storage' Q.

Campaign against Communist Terrorists (CTs)

The police figured in 30 government-initiated encounters against CTs that resulted in following: five captured, ten killed, and one wounded, and the recovery of 15 high-powered and two low-powered firearms. In other operations against CTs, 37 were arrested and 38 surrendered while four high-powered and three low-powered firearms were recovered. (p. 62)

Campaign against Southern Philippines Terrorists (SPTs)

Two government-initiated encounters against SPTs were reported that resulted in the neutralization of four members and recovery of one high-powered firearm. In other operations against SPTs, 19 members were arrested. (p. 62)
