c) Collection and Disposal of illicit SALW and Ammunitions
The disposal of recovered/ surrendered illicit SALW and Ammunitions has been continuously undertaken in line with the Nairobi Protocol. Since 2003, 25,179 assorted firearms, 505,848 rounds of ammunitions, and 36,000 old mliltary ordinances have been disposed publicly through burning.
