The relatively successful security preparations of the PNP for the 2007 local and national elections resulted to the confiscation of 203 firearms and 28 explosives (9 grenades and 19 improvised explosives devise), the arrest of 154 suspects, and the filing of 64 cases in court for violation of election gun ban.
