Artículo 139. Permisos - Porte de Arma de Defensa Personal

El permiso durará como máximo un año, contado desde la fecha de su otorgamiento y sólo autoriza al beneficiario para portar un arma corta. En ningún caso se otorgarán permisos provisorios. Terminada su vigencia, la credencial y la Resolución deberán ser devueltas a la Autoridad Fiscalizadora correspondiente a su jurisdicción.

Article 139. Permits - Carrying of Firearms for Personal Defence

A permit [to carry] shall be valid for up to one year, starting from the date of its issuance, and it may only authorise its beneficiary to carry one handgun. Provisional permits shall be granted under no circumstances. Once its validity has expired, the credentials and Resolutions shall be returned to the Control Authority corresponding to the appropriate jurisdiction.
