Amnesty Announced for Guns in British Virgin Islands

With the amended Firearms and Air Gun Act (2015) now in effect, the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) said it has launched a firearm and prohibited weapons amnesty that will run throughout the month of July.
The RVIPF hopes persons will use the opportunity, in light of the increased prison terms likely, to turn over all illegal or prohibited weapons in their possession to police.

Cambodia Destroys Homemade Guns

Police in Banteay Meanchey province yesterday torched 400 homemade guns, 24 crossbows and 360 "electro-fishing" kits, with most of the haul voluntarily surrendered by villagers.
Banteay Meanchey provincial police chief Art Khem said the bonfire at Banteay Meanchey town's provincial police station followed a recent police blitz encouraging people to turnover illegal arms and hunting equipment.
