Mr. Baffour Amoa, President of the West African Action Network on Small Arms (WAANSA), on Friday urged security agencies to clamp down on the activities of artisans, to prevent them from manufacturing small arms.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency on the state of the acquisition of small arms in the country, he pointed out that "some artisans secretly produce and sell locally-manufactured guns to armed robbers".
