SAN BRUNO, California - A Skyline College student who was shot and wounded at the San Bruno campus last year has been convicted of a gun violation, a prosecutor said today.
Eric Brewer, 20, pleaded no contest Tuesday in San Mateo County Superior Court to a felony charge of carrying a loaded firearm in a public place. Judge Susan Etezadi placed him on three years of probation and gave him credit for time served in jail, about nine months.
