A community college graduation on a warm june afternoon, the kind where everybody sits in folding chairs in the gym and dads with bobbing video cameras squint down from the bleachers. The commencement speaker, a Seattle prosecutor and gun control activist, walks diffidently to the podium. He's a tall, slight man in spectacles. Allow Colleges to Ban Guns, Utahns Say

A Deseret News/KSL-TV poll has found that a majority of Utahns say public colleges and universities should have authority to ban all guns from their campuses, including guns belonging to peoople with legal permits to have concealed weapons.
A majority also favor keeping guns out of day-care centers, but they have the opposite view when it comes to banning guns from state parks and some animal hunts, according to preferences that surfaced in the survey conducted by Dan... (GunPolicy.org)
