It should be as easy to track a gun owner as it is to track a car owner, Mayor Daley suggested Saturday at a South Side rally against gun violence. "When you buy a car, the state knows your vehicle identification number and knows who you are, but when you buy a gun, the state doesn't get the information," Daley told 300 schoolchildren and adults at St. Sabina's Parish, 7500 S.
