Victoria Kicks Off New Sixth Month Amnesty for Gun Owners

Victorians have been given a second chance to get rid of their illegal and unwanted firearms with the declaration today of a six-month gun amnesty.
Unlike the previous buy-back gun hand-in it does not include compensation.
The amnesty was announced jointly by the Minister for Police and Emergency Services, Bill McGrath, and the Chief Commissioner of Police, Neil Comrie.
