The NSW firearms amnesty ended in chaos last night with farmers trying to register illegal semi-automatic weapons, gun owners confused about licences and dealers fearing that a massive backlog in applications will see their businesses grind to a halt.
The State Government admitted there was a massive backlog in applications for thousands of licences and the registration of tens of thousands of weapons before last night's midnight deadline.
