UTICA, New York — Two-thirds of Americans said they thought the U.S. should spend more money enforcing current laws including mandatory jail time for those who commit a crime with a handgun, according to a nationwide Zogby "American Values" poll of 1,005 likely voters.
Another 26% agreed with the statement, "there should be more gun control laws including mandatory gun locks." Three percent agreed with neither statement while 2% said they weren't sure.
