CITRUS HEIGHTS — A 4-month-old Citrus Heights baby who had been shot in the neck over the weekend was in critical condition Monday at the UC Davis Medical Center. Investigators from the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department believe the baby was shot when his mother was showing her .38-caliber handgun to a friend and the gun discharged.
