A Kawakawa farmer who shot and wounded one of three men he believed were trying to steal his farm bike has been charged by Northland police with offences under the Crimes Act and the Arms Act. The three intruders have been jointly charged with trying to steal the quad bike and possessing a firearm while committing an offence.
