Weapons ranging from hand guns, stun guns and cross bows have been netted in Queensland's three month amnesty. The time to hand in your weapons has passed. Queensland's gun amnesty has ended, unearthing over 8,500 firearms over the prosecution-free period. According to police, 2,000 of the weapons were surrendered to be destroyed, with a large majority of the weapons surrendered to be registered properly before being returned to their owners.
