Kalashnikov Wrote About Feeling Responsibility For Deaths From His Gun

MOSCOW - A legendary gun designer and author of the AK-47 machine gun Mikhail Kalashnikov, who died in December 2013, six months before the death wrote a letter of repentance to Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill.
In that letter, the Izvestia daily writes, the designer shared with the head of the Russian Orthodox Church his emotional concerns and doubts about his responsibility for the death of people killed from the gun he had invented.
