Japanese Govt Eyes Lower Age Limit on Air Guns

The government is likely to seek lower age restrictions on using air guns, to enable athletes to begin training earlier for shooting events at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games, sources said.
A revision of the Firearm and Sword Control Law that would lower the age limit from the current 14 years old to about 10 years old is being considered, the sources said. The plan also includes such safety considerations as restrictions on the number of athletes... (GunPolicy.org)
