Gang Shooting Shocks Swedish Christmas Shoppers

A man was gunned down in central Örebro in eastern Sweden on Saturday in full view of shoppers out in the middle of the Christmas rush, with police reporting a gangland connection.
The man, who is reported to be in his twenties, was shot in the torso on Drottninggatan in Örebro's main shopping area on Saturday afternoon, according to a report in the local Nerikes Allehanda daily.
