A 60-year-old Swiss farmer suspected of shooting a 44-year-old woman dead and injuring his brother with a revolver in the canton of Lucerne died on Monday after apparently turning the firearm on himself. The shootings occurred on Sunday at 6pm on the man's farm in the rural village of Luthern, west of the city of Lucerne, cantonal police said.
