Questions about Australia's Licence Regime After Gun Imports Soar

Firearms are flowing into Australia at more than double the rate of five years ago.
While the weapons are being legally imported, gun-control advocates are warning of a marked increase in the risk of shootings and other gun crimes - or even another massacre.
Customs figures show 85,035 handguns, rifles, shotguns, military firearms and air firearms were legally imported into Australia last year, up from 39,389 in 2006.
