Kenya Police Accused of 'Brutality' During Gun Disarmament Campaign

Security agencies are conducting a disarmament exercise in Tana River that is necessary to flush out guns illegally held by locals.
It is highly likely that these firearms were used in the recent spate of violence that left more than 110 people dead and thousands displaced. While most of the deaths were from what police describes as crude weapons including pangas and clubs, a few gunshot wounds were reported.
