Australian Gun Registry 'Not Accessed Illegally' Before Gun Thefts

Nearly 200 guns have been stolen from premises across the state in a five-month spate of thefts but the police are adamant the gun registry has not been accessed illegally.
The Herald is aware of 25 break and enters, mostly in rural and semi-rural homes, that appear to be targeted at gun thefts. Up to 18 firearms were stolen at a time, including Olympic-grade pistols and former police guns.
