The province of New Brunswick announced Tuesday that it will adhere to the federal government's wishes and no longer require gun dealers to keep records of sales of long guns and who purchased them. Not all provinces have been so quick to let go of the record-keeping practice that some have likened to a "back-door" gun registry. Ontario has balked at the Harper government's directive.
