A push by the state government body that regulates recreational hunting in NSW to overturn a ban on the use of silencers on hunting weapons has outraged gun control advocates who say they will end up in the hands of criminals. The Game Council of NSW, which has close links to the Shooters and Fishers Party, is spending $25,000 to contract three researchers to "identify impediments to allowing the use of sound moderators on firearms in NSW for the purposes of hunting...
