UK Mass Killer 'Driven Mad' by Money Worries, Unpaid Tax, Inquest Told

Derrick Bird was driven crazy by money worries and an unpaid tax bill, his family revealed for the first time yesterday.
Eldest son Graeme Bird, 29, told the inquest how his dad had "his head in his hands" the last time he saw him alive.
He said Bird, 52, visited him on June 1 last year – the day before the killings – and was convinced he was going to jail.
The demented cabbie had "squirrelled away" £60,000 in a bank, but had not declared it to the taxman.
