ALBANY, Georgia — Not even police officers are immune from arrest for firing a gun to celebrate New Year's. An Albany police officer has been arrested for shooting a gun in celebration of 2011's arrival early Saturday morning. Albany Police Chief John Proctor says 28-year-old Grady Rachel has been suspended without pay pending an internal investigation into the incident.
