ADRIAN, Michigan — A federal jury has acquitted firearms dealer Walter L. Priest of Adrian of a felony rifle charge that Priest said he believes resulted from legal sales to members of a local militia group involved in federal raids earlier this year. Priest's attorney said the jury in Detroit took less than three hours to return its verdict on Thursday. Priest, 53, had been accused of illegally possessing a rifle with an altered or obliterated serial number.... (GunPolicy.org)
